CBI is a nationally recognized organization providing quality trainings, facilitation, consultancy and other services to individuals and organizations working for the development of Myanmar.

Who We Are

A group of young, intelligent, experienced and energetic people with good educational records from Universities belongs to CBI. Besides, they are also receiving capacity and skill training and workshops continuously from famous institutions and individuals inside and outside of the country. They all share the core value of “quality” and “accountability”. We are altogether 30 people dedicating towards the capacity development of Myanmar Citizens working in the social and development sector.

About CBI

The concept of CBI was started early 90s when pioneers of INGOs such as Save the Children (UK & US) and World Vision came into Myanmar. These organizations initiated together with UNICEF a program to build and enhance skills and knowledge of Myanmar who worked with them." alt=" The concept of CBI was started early 90s when pioneers of INGOs such as Save the Children (UK & US) and World Vision came into Myanmar. The program was called “Myanmar Developed Resource Program” and provided trainings and workshops to Myanmar staff between 1998 to 2000. After evaluating that program, it was agreed and decided to continue the program as a project and they selected the name of a project “Capacity Building Initiative” and the project was launched in early 2001.

We would like to invite you for the training on “Contemporary Development of Participatory Approaches” training in Yangon.

The training will be facilitated by CBI Training Team.

All training handouts will be prepared in both Language (English & Myanmar).

The training will be held from 20-23August 2013 (4 days) in Yangon from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

We’ve attached training details and nomination form for the interested candidates.

INGO, LNGO and CBO's and SHG staff can apply for this course and the course fees is 40000 Kyats for 4Days.

You are kindly requested to submit the completed nomination form to CBI not later than 6August 2013.

CBI training team will give confirmation only for the selected participants on 8August 2013.
